Welcome to Aberration Records.
Aberration Records is the “new kid on the block” as far as recording companies are
concerned. The name “Aberration” started out as a band name for owner, Sean White’s
college band in 2003 and after their untimely split in mid-2004, became the chosen
name for his “one day” record label.
Today is that day, as Aberration Records has launched and will be setting up a new
recording and rehearsal facility in the Leeds area of West Yorkshire, UK in the coming
Artists under the Aberration umbrella include:
Sean White and The Monkey Tennis Experience.
Aberration Records hopes to record more local, talented artists in the coming months
and years, growing the Aberration Records label, taking it from an indie label, to
a major label.
The upcoming recording and rehearsal facility will be known as “Aberration Studios”
and will comprise of one large live room and control room, with four medium sized
rehearsal rooms; along with bathroom and kitchen facilities, plus a lounge/relaxation
area featuring a pool and football table and a PlayStation 3 console.
Aberration Records’ main focus is to record and produce music for its’ current artists,
selling these recordings via this website, iTunes, MySpace and any other digital
medium possible, promoting these artists and recordings, organising and arranging
live events for these artists and keeping fans up to date with these artists; however,
as the company grows, more artists will be added to the label and will have the opportunity
to record and produce singles and albums with Aberration Records.
In the mean time, Aberration Studios will be “the” place to rehearse in the Yorkshire
area of England, and will only get bigger and better as time goes by.
Aberration Records is interested in preserving our environment and helping to “save
our planet” in as many ways as possible, and as such, will be taking part in the
“1% for the planet” project, and will also look at setting up Aberration Studios
using solar powered electricity.
Aberration Records will actively promote the concept of positive world change, in
that, if one person makes one small change to their daily life, to benefit the planet,
and this action is multiplied by millions, we can all slowly make the world a better
place for future generations.
Aberration Records will also donate a percentage of its’ yearly profits to charities
such as the National Association for Colitis and Crohn’s, and Cancer Research UK.
